BBQ Sauce

BBQ Sauce

This tangy BBQ sauce pairs well with various grilled meats, such as chicken, pork ribs, or even burgers. It offers a unique flavor profile with the combination of tangy vinegar, smoky paprika, and a hint of heat from the cayenne pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, gluten free soy sauce, brown sugar, molasses, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  4. Taste the sauce and season with salt and black pepper according to your preference. Adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more brown sugar or vinegar, if desired.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the BBQ sauce cool down.
  6. Once the sauce has cooled, transfer it to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
